The BCB has executed an initiative to implement online consulting for computational or statistical issues/topics (e.g., power calculation for sample size, selection of matching controls, and reproducible research) that are commonly encountered in AIDS clinical research. This is inspired by the popular StackOverflow website with the BCB core or other members of the CFAR community contributing answers to quantitative questions posed by the Duke CFAR community. Over time, this will provide a searchable resource of solutions to commonly asked statistical or informatics issues in HIV/AIDS research. If you have any such questions, please dukecfar.askbot.com to post your question.
