Michel Landry will discuss his experiences as an injury & rehabilitation policy consultant to the World Health Organization¿s Nepal Office, where he is developing short, middle and long term strategies to address the emerging needs of people injured by the earthquake. He¿ll also examine the juxtaposition of the 'building back better¿ conceptual framework following natural disasters. This lecture is part two in Healing After Disaster: A Two-Part Series on Duke's Global Health Work in Nepal Following the 2015 Earthquakes. Lunch will be provided.
