Dr. Kraus will present "Duke Cardiac Rehabilitation: Origins, Rich History and Victories in Caring for Our Patients after Cardiac Procedures and Events" Learning Objectives: -Understand the history of cardiac rehabilitation and its importance to Duke Cardiology history. -Understand the four clinical components of cardiac rehabilitation -- secondary prevention of cardiac events -- and the importance for preventing adverse outcomes after cardiac events and procedures. -Understand the referral criteria for cardiac rehabilitation and how to make a referral. -Understand the barriers for patient participation in cardiac rehabilitation.
