Friday, March 2, 2018

In March, the SBS Core hosted a chalk talk and networking event to provide an opportunity for SBS and Clinical Core investigators to share their experiences with the use of biomarkers for clinical outcomes in social/behavioral research. The event included a brief panel and roundtable discussion for investigators to share their experiences, challenges, and questions related to the integration of biomarkers. Discussants included:

  • Emily Cherenack, Doctoral Student in Clinical Psychology
  • John Mitchell, PhD, Assistant Professor in Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences
  • Marta Mulawa, PhD, Postdoctoral Scholar, IRTPA T32 Program
  • Susanna Naggie, MD, Associate Professor of Medicine

The event was well attended by investigators from across the CFAR Cores who provided great advice and ideas to each other.
