UPGG Tuesday Seminar Series

Chris Sassetti from University of Massachusetts at Worcester will present Tuesday's UPGG seminar on 4/7 at 12:30 pm in 147 Nanaline Duke.

Chris has pioneered new approaches to high-throughput genetic screens in Mycobacterium tuberculosis. His work focuses on host-pathogen interactions during tuberculosis, specifically how the immune system responds to and is manipulated by bacterial products and how Mycobacterium tuberculosis alters its own metabolism and growth in unexpected ways to survive within a mammalian host.
